Intro to EF and me

This year I was made redundant, so for the first time in a very long time, I won’t be going back to school at the beginning of the new academic year.

But I also finished my PhD. And at 58, I’m absolutely determined to make the most of my next decade of working.

So today, on my birthday, I’m starting something that pushes me well outside my comfort zone.

365 Conversations about Executive Function.

For the next 365 days, I’m going to record one video and start one conversation every day — drawing on six years of PhD research, 35 years in education, and probably quite a lot of things I’ll work out along the way.

If nobody watches, at least I’ll have proved to myself that I can do another hard thing — and I’ll have had plenty of practice turning a very complex area of research into something useful, practical and easy to understand.
